How to unlock strike missions in GW2? ›

Accessing strike missionsEdit

Living World Season 1 strike missions can be accessed by interacting with the scrying stone at Lion's Court in Lion's Arch or at The Ready Room in Arborstone (also accessible by talking to Lyra nearby). Automatically unlocked regardless of story completion.

Daily Strike Mission is a category of daily achievements for completing specific Priority Strike for the day. The progress in these achievements resets each day with the server reset.

The chest may be opened with 1 to 3 Prophet Crystals, which are earned by completing daily strikes or exchanging Prophet Shards. The more crystals used to open the chest, the better the loot. Maximum loot is obtained when 3 Prophet Crystals and 5 echoes are present.

The completion of the objective is not necessary to advance the campaign - if the player loses all the elements of his squad the campaign will continue with the mission's outcome affecting the campaign.
