Peter A. Sandborg 2024 Pete was born on June 29, 1962 in Minneapolis and later moved to Eau Claire as a toddler. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the age of 62. Pete spent his childhood playing hockey as a Mite and continued through high school skating for the Old Abes. He was a great defenseman and immensely enjoyed the game. His educational years were spent at Putnam Heights Elementary, Central Junior High, Eau Claire Memorial and UW-Eau Claire. After graduating from UW - Eau Claire with his B.S. in Environmental Public Health, he moved to Chicago working for Micron Environmental for several years before furthering his environmental career with the Sigma Environmental Group...
